FALL 2019 STATEWIDE CAUCUS MEETING, recap
During the November 23rd statewide caucus meeting, members were concerned about growing TWC membership across Texas. Ideas discussed included organizing coffee/happy hours across the state for TWC employees to recognize their union, wearing union buttons one day a week at their workplaces, involving new members as soon as they join and making NEO (new employee orientation) presentations. Also discussed: the pension and pay raise campaign, legislative initiatives for TWC employees and our clients, career ladders and fighting privatization.
