Gov. Abbott: Pay Attention to our Pensions!
TSEU members, led by activists in the Retirees Organizing Committee, are building support for a pension increase for ERS retirees. With the Governor calling a special legislative session in an attempt to pass a deeply unpopular school voucher bill, TSEU members are calling on Legislators to ask Gov. Abbott to add an ERS pension increase to the agenda. With billions of dollars left unspent, and with ERS pensions remaining stagnant for over two decades, there is no excuse for state leaders to hide behind – PENSION INCREASE NOW!
Get Involved : Contact your own representative and senator. Ask them to send a letter to the governor calling on him to add a pension increase to the special session agenda. Find your State Rep and State Senator at capitol.texas.gov
