University of Texas TSEU members John Anderson, Brett Bowman, Carissa Ceasor, Anne Lewis, Iana Robitaille, Frank Netscher, Vera Simone, and more came out during the week of action to ask their coworkers to join TSEU and sign a petition calling on UT President Jay Hartzell to allocate funding for a $10,000 across-the-board pay raise for all workers. Backed up by an in-depth financial analysis of UT conducted by the University Caucus of TSEU and the research department of the Communications Workers of America (which can be found here), the Pay Raise Week of Action built power for the campaign with growth of 48 new union members and 855 petition signatures collected.
