Calls for an emergency pay raise and ERS pension funding grow louder because of TSEU mobilization!

In response to grassroots union pressure, bipartisan support for an emergency pay raise for all state agency employees and additional funding for the ERS pension is growing every day. To date, over 70 lawmakers (full list below) have sent letters to the Legislative Budget Board (LBB) calling for raises and pension funding. The goal is to ask every state senator and representative to publicly call for the LBB to approve the emergency raise and ERS funding.

 

It’s not too late to call “the Holdouts”!

Some long-time TSEU allies have failed to act. We MUST keep up the pressure – we supported many of these legislators in their elections, it’s time they supported state workers and retirees!

Today, I am calling to ask (Senator/Representative) _______ to send a letter to the LBB asking for a state employee pay raise and emergency funding for our pensions. Nearly 70 state representatives and senators have already sent official requests to the LBB.
