Our own state officials need to be know what is going on; they can help apply pressure to TDCJ leadership within the agency and at the Capitol.

My name is ________ and I live in your district. I’m calling to ask you to contact TDCJ Director Bryan Collier, to do all he can to make TDCJ Parole staff safe as we serve the citizens of Texas in our job of supervising offenders. We need to know where confirmed cases of COVID 19 have occurred, and the reassurance that offices that have had confirmed cases of COVID 19 have been sanitized by professionals. We need to keep personal contact to a minimum and the ability to keep social distancing in our offices. As Texans we need to do all we can to flatten the curve and get Texans back to work in safe environments.
