TRAINING: Lobby Day Team Leaders

During a one-hour Zoom session, we’ll discuss team leader responsibilities, Lobbying Do’s and Don’ts, TSEU’s main issues for Lobby Day visits, needed roles within a team, how to conduct a group visit with a legislator, and TSEU information about a legislator’s party affiliation, how many active and retired state employees are in their district, their pertinent  committee(s), and where they might stand on our issues.  We’ll also cover how to create a group text for your team, how to assist someone with a visual impairment, and anything else that comes to mind.  Joan Barasch and Janet Cook will facilitate.  You’ll get relevant documents if you haven’t already received them otherwise.
